The entire contents of the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines, and each article and abstract and other material available through OPEM, are protected by copyright (unless otherwise indicated on the title page of the article). As a User, you have certain rights specified below; all other rights are reserved.

1. To make OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines useful, the following rules apply:

   1. All Users, including Guest Users, will have access to all Journal websites within OPEM. You may browse all Tables of Content and all available abstracts, for all Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines on OPEM regardless of what Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines your institution subscribes to, and search the entire database of Tables of Content and abstracts.
   2. Users at institutions which have subscribed to Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines and users who have access under a Society License will have access to the full text in PDF of such Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines ("Authorized Users"). Authorized Users may download, view, copy and save to hard disk or diskette and store or print out single copies of individual articles or items for your own personal use, scholarly, educational or scientific research or internal business use. Authorized Users may transmit to a third-party colleague in hard copy or electronically, a single article or item from OPEM for personal use or scholarly, educational, or scientific research or professional use but not for re-sale. In addition, Authorized Users have the right to use, with appropriate credit, figures, tables and brief excerpts from individual articles in the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s) in your own scientific, scholarly and educational works.
   3. All Users, including Guest Users, have the option to create a personal Home Page which will allow you to create data files and links to Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s), articles of interest and search criteria which may be reused by you. In order to do so, you must register. During the registration process, you will select and register a user name and password which you must keep confidential and not disclose to or share with anyone else.
2. Except as provided above, you may not copy, distribute, transmit or otherwise reproduce material from Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s); store such material in any form or medium in a retrieval system; download and/or store an entire issue of a Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine or its equivalent; or transmit such material, directly or indirectly, for use in any paid service such as document delivery or list serve, or for use by any information brokerage or for systematic distribution, whether or not for commercial or non-profit use or for a fee or free of charge.
3. In order to protect the integrity and attribution of OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s), you agree not to remove, obscure or modify any copyright or proprietary notices, author attribution or disclaimer contained therein or on any screen display. You may not integrate material from the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s) with other material or otherwise create derivative works in any medium. This is not meant to prohibit quotations for purposes of comment, criticism or similar scholarly purposes.
4. You may not do anything to restrict or inhibit any other User's access to or use of OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s).
5. If you refuse or fail to abide by these Terms and Conditions or violate any other terms of this Agreement, OPEM reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines immediately without notice, in addition to any other available remedies.

OPEM is not responsible for any charges associated with accessing OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicines, including, but not limited to, any computer equipment, telephone or Internet connections and access software.

Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine may modify any of these terms and conditions at any time by providing notice in OPEM. Your continued use of OPEM shall be conclusively deemed acceptance of such modification.

OPEM may provide links to third-party websites. Where such links exist, Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine disclaims all responsibility and liability for the content of such third-party websites. Users assume the sole responsibility for the accessing of third-party websites and the use of any content appearing on such websites.

OPEM recognizes the importance of protecting the information it collects in the operation of OPEM and will take all reasonable steps to maintain the security, integrity and privacy of this information.OPEM will ensure that any information it collects will be adequate, relevant and not excessive for purposes of operating OPEM; it will be kept accurate and up-to-date based on information provided and will be deleted when no longer needed. Except where necessary in connection with services provided by appropriate intermediaries, who will be required to comply with the confidentiality provisions of this policy, OPEM will not disclose any personal information identifying Users to any third party, unless required by law or to enforce OPEM Terms and Conditions of Use.

Users are given the option of creating a personal "Home Page" where the User may store links to favorite journals, favorite articles and search criteria, but Users do not necessarily have to use a home page. Any private communications or information supplied to OPEM by a User may be used by OPEM for internal business and research purposes and to help enhance and develop OPEM but will not be shared with third parties.

OPEM will only disclose to third parties navigational and transactional information in the form of anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (including "hits" on OPEM and the Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine(s)) and demographics in forms that do not reveal a User's identity or confidential information, except as required by law.

Links may be provided from OPEM to other websites. In using such links, Users should be aware that each website will vary in terms of its privacy and data protection policies, and OPEM does not take responsibility for the privacy policies of, and usage of personal information collected by, others.

OPEM and  The Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine and all materials contained therein are provided on an "AS is" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of title, or implied warranties of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose;

The use of The Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine, OPEM and all materials is at the user's own risk;

Access to OPEM and The Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine may be interrupted and may not be free; and 

Neither OPEM, The Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine, or anyone else involved in creating, producing or delivering The Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine or the materials contained in OPEM, Shall be liable for any direct, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of the user's use of inability to use OPEM, THE Oriental Pharmacy and Experimental Medicine and all materials contained therin.
